Palak emphasized the positive impact of the inventors rather than sheer profit
The State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak urged the youth to leave the old and invent new things to influence the country's economy. He said, instead of looking at sheer profit, something should be invented that will have a positive impact on the economy and the environment. Together we want to build such an inclusive society, build a country that will be participatory and innovative Smart Bangladesh.
He made this call in his opening speech at the Sankalpa Dhaka conference held at a hotel in the capital on Sunday morning to create an eco-system of entrepreneurial culture in Bangladesh.
While speaking as the chief guest, the state minister said that under the bold leadership of the prime minister, our main goal is to create job opportunities for the youth. For this reason, we have decided to establish 13,000 Sheikh Russell digital computer labs, 300 Schools of Future and business incubation centers in universities as well as 12 knowledge parks. These can be done inside the university as well as in nearby areas.
Among others, former Ambassador Gurujit Singh Intelcap Managing Director Joyce Bhatia, ABFRL CSO Naresh Taigi, UCBL Managing Director Md Arif Qadri, SBK Managing Director Sonia Bashir Kabir, Bangladesh Managing Director Sami Ahmed, Intelcap Director Vinket Kotamaraju were present in the event organized by Discovery Group.
In the meeting, Intelcap Managing Director Joyce Bhatia promised to help 1000 entrepreneurs by 2030. On the other hand, Sonia Bashir Kabir emphasized on data rather than gender to ensure smart devices for everyone. And Sami Ahmed emphasized investing in things that have a positive impact on the environment and the environment globally.
